Terrence P. Higgins
An experienced trial lawyer with more than 20 years experience, Terry Higgins is dedicated to representing injury victims.
A graduate of University at Buffalo Law School, Mr. Higgins has focused on advocating and fighting for the rights of accident victims. Admitted to practice in all New York State courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. Higgins has won numerous multimillion dollar cases on behalf of his clients. He has repeatedly been named among New York Super Lawyers in the field of personal injury law.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice, and New York State Trial Lawyers Association, of which he is past president of the Region Affiliate, and the Erie County Bar Association.
Mr. Higgins is one of few local attorneys certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
He has lectured extensively on various topics of personal injury law, and is asked by other lawyers to handle their client’s injury cases.
Daniel B. Kane
A practicing trial attorney for over 25 years, and admitted in both New York and New Jersey, Dan has concentrated solely on representing seriously injured clients in cases involving automobiles, motorcycle accidents, premises, railroad, labor law, highways, product liability and other areas of personal injury.
He is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, Orchard Park Village Justice and has been named a New York Super Lawyer in the field of personal injury law.
A past member of a large personal injury law firm, Dan has had the fortunate experience of working on hundreds of personal injury cases and made the career move to open up his own personal injury law firm. Along with his partner, Dan has been successful in obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients. Because of his past success, Dan has been referred personal injury cases from all walks of life. Dan is also a volunteer instructor and lectures in the Orchard Park Youth Court.
Dan has nine brothers and sisters all residing in the WNY area, and is the son of Retired New York Supreme Court Justice James B. Kane, Jr. He and his wife, Dr. Kathleen Kane, reside in Orchard Park with their three children, Caroline, Brendan and Daniel.
